Heb een T4 2.5 benzine syncro uit 95 (camper kenteken)

Kan iemand mij vertellen waar ik de motorcode kan vinden ???

met zoeken op forum niet terug kunnen vinden (op papieren ook niet)

At launch, in 1990, the available engines were...

T4a Petrol range:

1.8 litre (67bhp/49kw) PD 4-cylinder with carburettor and no catalyst (dropped from the range for 1993).

2.0 litre (87bhp/62kw) AAC 4-cylinder with digifant fuel injection and catalyst (optional to 1993 / standard from 1993).
2.5 litre (110bhp/81kw) AAF 5-cylinder with digifant fuel injection and catalyst (+ ACU from 1993, + AEN from 1995).

T4a Diesel range:

1.9 litre (61bhp/45kw) 1X 4-cylinder normally aspirated and no catalyst.
2.4 litre (78bhp/57kw) AAB 5-cylinder normally aspirated and no catalyst.
Two important new diesel engines arrived during the T4a's time...

1.9 litre (68bhp/ 50kw) ABL 4-cylinder Umwelt Turbo Diesel with catalyst (from 1993).
2.5 litre (102bhp/75kw) ACV 5-cylinder TDI with intercooler and catalyst (from late 1995).
Both of these engines are Euro2 emissions compliant, the ABL Umwelt engine being the most prolific in the range.Vans were available with all of these engines; Caravelles and Multivans never had the 1.8 litre petrol engine.

Some changes were made with the introduction of the T4b in 1996, when the choice of powerplants truly flourished...

Petrol engine range (all with catalysts):

2.0 litre (87bhp/62kw) AAC 4-cylinder fuel injection.
2.5 litre (110bhp/81kw) AAF, ACU, AEN 5-cylinder digifant fuel injection.
2.8 litre (140bhp/103kw) AES 6-cylinder 12 valve fuel injection.
Diesel engine range:

1.9 litre (68 bhp/50kw) ABL 4-cylinder Euro2 TD Umwelt with catalyst.
2.4 litre (78bhp/57kw) AAB 5-cylinder normally aspirated with no catalyst.
2.5 litre (102bhp/81kw) ACV 5-cylinder Euro2 TDI with intercooler and catalyst.
A new fuel injection system for the 2.5 litre petrol engine meant that cruise control could be ordered as an option from late 1996...

2.5 litre (110bhp/81kw) AEU 5-cyclinder simos fuel injection.

2.5 litre (115bhp/85kw) AET, (+ APL and AVT from late 1999) 5-cylinder simos fuel injection.
The 2.4D na "Cat Diesel" and red "I" are announced in 1998...
2.4 litre (75bhp/55kw) AJA 5-cylinder Euro2 normally aspirated diesel with catalyst.
2.5 litre (150bhp/111kw) AHY 5-cylinder Euro2 TDI with big intercooler, nozzles and catalyst.
TDI, TDI or TDI ?

The summer of 1998 saw the arrival of the blue "I" turbo diesel...
2.5 litre (88bhp/65kw) AJT 5-cylinder Euro2 TDI without intercooler.
The 16" models, with 16" wheels and larger disc brakes as standard, were introduced during 1999...
2.8 litre (204bhp/150kw) AMV and AXK 6-cylinder V6 Bosch mpi 24 valve with catalyst.

2.5 litre (150bhp/111kw) AXG 5-cylinder TDI the Euro3, red "I" with big intercooler, nozzles and catalyst.
... and yet more diesel engines arrived...
2.5 litre (102bhp/75kw) AUF 5-cylinder Euro3 TDI with intercooler and catalyst for automatic transmission only. (late 1999)
2.5 litre (102bhp/75kw) AYC 5-cylinder Euro3 intercooler TDI. (Summer 2000)
2.5 litre (88bhp/65kw) AYY 5-cylinder Euro3 TDI (no intercooler) blue "i". (Summer 2000)
2.5 litre (102bhp/75kw) AXL 5-cylinder Euro3 intercooler TDI. (Summer 2001)
All T4 diesels had to become Euro3 emissions compliant in time for January 2002 - production code OGE (OGD forEuro2 TDI's - the 1.9TD's were dropped from UK range)...
TDI ACV from engine number 266252.
TDI AJT from engine number 058063.
(small and medium cars had been Euro3 compliant since 2000).

A Summary of Euro3 Compliant Diesel Engines (production code OGE)

TDI - 111kw (150bhp) red "I" engine code AXG
TDI Automatic - 75kw (102bhp) engine code AUF
TDI - 75kw (102bhp) engine code AYC
TDI - 65kw (88bhp) blue "I" engine code AYY
TDI - 75kw (102bhp) engine code AXL
TDI - 75kw (102bhp) engine code ACV (from engine number 266252)
TDI - 65kw (88bhp) engine code AJT (from engine number 058063)
All other Catalyst diesel engines are Euro2 (production code OGD) compliant apart from the normally aspirated 1X1.9D na and AAB 2.4D na (without Catalyst), which are in the Euro1 engine group.

With T4's built from July 1999, the production codes OGD (Euro2) or OGE (Euro3) will be present on the data card found behind the fuse box or inside the front cover of the service book. If neither are present with your vehicle, VW Customer Services, or your nearest dealer, will be able to tell whether or not your T4 is Euro3 compliant from the chassis number.

There are major inplications regarding this should you wish to venture into towns and cities across Europe: some may not allow you to enter if your T4 is not Euro2 or Euro3 compliant.

Tussen de 1e en 3e cilinder op het blok.
Neem aan dat ie op dezelfde plek zit als bij een diesel...daar zit ie boven de brandstofpomp.
Tevens (als die er nog zit) op een sticker in de linker A stijl ter hoogte van de zekeringkast.

Waar dan?
Ik kan alleen het chassisnummer vinden en de meldcode....

Bij mij staat het ook op een sticker in de motorruimte. Als je ervoor staan aan de linkse kant. Boven de grill.

[Multivan Generation]

Kan ook op de afdekkap van de distributie riem staan op die sticker die daarop zit.
Staat ook in je instructie boekje eerste bladzijde met de wagensticker
Staat eventueel ook op het bakje wat onderaan je zekeringenkast zit..

AET 85kw. vanaf 08-96

Mij lijkt toch wel ACU

Ander mogelijkheid is ontleden van het (VIN) chassisnummer. 10e digit is het bouwjaar.
P = 1993
R = 1994
S = 1995
T = 1996
